Perfect Fit is an incredibly easy product to fit to your window frames and even easier to measure. You can follow our step by step guides to ensure you have an easy time measuring and fitting your blinds. There are no complicated tools or screwing / drilling involved it a really simple process that is completed in four simple steps. You can also follow our videos which you can find on the website.

Perfect Fit is designed to be attached fully flush onto the UPVC frame without needing any drilling or the use of screws. This means it can fit to almost any window in your home, and you can start experiencing the benefit of perfect fit all over your house. They fit perfectly on the window frames and really do live up to their name as the finish is absolutely perfect.

Perfect fit pleated have an even simpler operation to make ease of use and longevity to the product's life cycle. Pleated blinds in a perfect fit frame are an excellent insulator and have been awarded energy efficiency accolades. Some perfect fit pleated fabrics have properties to reduce heat by 65%, reduce the glare by up to 90%, and have a heat retention of 60%. This means; not only does this product have an amazing modern look to it, it also is constantly working for you to save you money during the winter months and working to make the rooms more comfortable in the summer months.

No-Drill System – Perfect Fit Pleated Blinds offer a no-drill / no screw system where the blind clips flush to your UPVC framework. This is a major benefit which our customer love because it means if you have just bought brand new windows you do not have to drill or screw the new frames and therefore you will not affect the warranty on your windows. This also means if you are great at D.I.Y then you can fit this as well as a competent DIY expert. Right hand control means the lifting cord (to lift the blind up and down) and Tilt Bar (to tilt the angle of the slats) will be on the right hand side.

Left Hand control means the lifting cord (to lift the blind up and down) and Tilt Bar (to tilt the angle of the slats) will be on the left hand side.

You are required to measure the bead depth of your window frame. This is simply the measurement from your glass to the front of your window frame. We offer 4 bracket sizes of 18mm, 20mm, 24mm and 30mm. Here are some diagram instruction to help you measure and we have also provided a step by step video:

Before you choose Perfect Fit blinds

Ensure your windows frames are uPVC
Ensure there is a 6mm clearance all around the outside of your window beading (the uPVC frame) to allow enough room for the Perfect Fit framework.
Check that the seals of your window do not protrude more than 6mm over the glass. (The seal is the black rubber strip between the glass and the window frame).

If your windows do not meet the above criteria your windows will not be suitable for Perfect Fit blinds. If they do use the instructions below.

Measure for your blind in just a few steps. You’ll need:

A tape measure – metal ones are best
A pencil and paper – to write down your measurements

When You Measure

You can measure for your blind in millimetres, centimetres or inches. Measure to the nearest millimetre if you’re using centimetres.
Whatever type of blind you’re measuring for, follow our instructions precisely and don’t make any adjustments for fittings and headrails.
Look out for the position of window handles and tiles.

STEP 1

Measure the width and drop of the visible glass area of your window in 3 places, the top, middle and bottom. Write down the shortest measurement.

STEP 2

Measure the depth of the window from the face of the window frame to the glass (this is normally 18mm, 20mm or 24mm) and write this down. This measurement is needed for choosing the correct bracket size.

Exact
If you tell us your exact blind size we will make no deductions and it will come to this exact size. This measurement is usually taken when fitting outside recess

We recommend the overlap is 64mm (2.5") each side and at the top and bottom. Please see drawing: Exact Measurements Recess
All you need to do is measure tight inside the recess (wall to wall) and we will make deductions for you to ensure the blind fits inside the recess. The standard blind deduction we make is 10mm (we will take this off for you) Please see diagram below: Recess Measurments
